Last weekend we went with the Ortman's to the Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati. The boys had so much fun! Henry loved walking around the water and splashing in the fountains. Jack had a great time going down the slides and playing in the wave pool. Of course, Henry didn't sleep well in the hotel, so it made a long night for me! But since the boys had fun, I had fun! :)
Tonight, Jack read his first bedtime story to us!! He was so proud! (as were we!!) He's doing such a good job with his reading. We are getting ready to sign him up for Kindergarten in a couple of weeks (*sniff sniff*)! I cannot believe my baby boy is ready for school. How time flies.
Henry is trying so hard to talk. He babbles and babbles and tries to make you understand what he's saying. He loves to play peek-a-boo and itsy bitsy spider. He can blow kisses and loves, loves to look at books. He likes to point to pictures and have you name everything. He is starting to know his animal sounds and loves Elmo!
We have another busy weekend coming up soon. We are going snow skiing with Matt's family at Crystal Mountain in Michigan. We went last year and Jack loved it. He will take another ski class with Parks. Henry is going to spend the weekend with Mamaw and Papaw. He will have much more fun there and Mommy and Daddy will have a much more relaxing time!!
It is supposed to warm up to 50 degrees this week and I, for one, cannot wait! I hope you are staying warm this winter. Enjoy our pictures!
