How time flies!

Did you think I've forgotten about you? This 2 kid thing makes my head hurt and makes time go by twice as fast!!

Well, what have we been up to? In late July, we visited the Hamilton County 4-H fair. It was so hot! Jack, Henry, and Lily all got to look at the animals and eat lots of fair food. We also were frequent guests at our neighborhood pool! Since Jack took swim lessons, he loves to be in the water and practice his 'swimming'!

August was such a hot month here! Jack spent most of his days playing outside (and inside) with his neighbor friend, Isaiah. Henry and I kept cool indoors most days. We visited some of my college friends and swam in their pool! I am so grateful to have kept such close contact with my college friends (and colleagues, since we're all Speech Therapists!). We also visited with Great-Grandma Ortman and made a few trips to the lake.
Matt and I also attended a Gaming Convention in Indianapolis during August. It is a convention where ALL types of games are played and we go mainly for the board game section. They have board games that you wouldn't find at Wal-Mart! We meet up with some friends that we only see once a year and have a great time! Jack went and stayed with Mimi and Papaw Ortman and Henry went to Mamaw and Papaw Glunt's while we did that. They all had so much fun.

Now it's September! Where does time go? We started the month up at the lake and Allen and his girlfriend, Mo (Maureen), came with us. Then, school started up for Jack and we have been trying to get back into the school schedule again.

We have such a busy next few weeks ahead of us. We are going to Holiday World in a couple of weeks with my family and then going to DISNEY WORLD after that with Matt's family!!! Jack doesn't know yet that we're going to Disney. We're trying to hold off telling him until the last minute so we don't get asked 100 times a day - "when are we going?!".

Henry is growing so fast. At his last appointment he weighed 20 lbs, 14 oz. and was 28 inches long. He is pulling up and cruising around furniture, and is oh-so-close to crawling. He can wave 'hi' and 'bye' and just learned to clap last week. His two bottom teeth have appeared and we're waiting now for the top two to show up. He loves to eat 'big people' food and practically refuses all baby food.

Enjoy some of our pictures! Hope everyone has a safe, fun fall.
