Happy 4th!

Whew! What a busy, fun weekend! We had such a good time visiting with family and friends.

On Thursday night, we packed up and headed up to the lake. Matt works from home, so he was able to take his laptop and just work from his parent's lake house. We took the boys to the playground and visited the hotdog stand for lunch! Friday night everyone started coming up to the lake. We were very surprised to see that Jack's cousin, Parks, had broken his arm! Jack and Parks had to play carefully so Parks wouldn't hurt his arm - try telling that to a couple of 4 year olds!! But they did a good job. Jack got to go tubing and on the boat for a bit as well. We had our annual Discada dinner made by Rick and Marty's friends, Bob and Donna. If you don't know what Discada is, you are missing out. It is a great Mexican meat mixture that you make tacos with. It is wonderful! Bob makes it every year and we make sure we are there to have some!

On Sunday, we went back to Sheridan for the 4th of July parade and festival in the park. It was Sheridan's 150th birthday celebration, so there were lots of extra floats and events. We had some of our family in from out of state and we had a baby shower for my cousin, Amanda, who is due in October. Everyone went to Mike and Ginny's home for cake and ice cream and smoked pork loin! It was wonderful to see everyone and visit with those who we don't see very often. Also, all the babies were there! We got pictures of all of them, but Logan, who had to go home early.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my memory card for my camera while at the lake, but found one to use to take pictures at Ginny's house. So, the pictures are just of the Glunt family 'reunion'. Enjoy!
