We've had a busy weekend with Easter and all the family gatherings. On Saturday, we went to the Glunt's Easter at mom and dad's. This was the first time that ALL the new grandbabies were gathered in the same place. Henry, Curtis (Brian and Rachel), Logan (Nate and Sheila), and Avery (Nathan and Erica). Avery was only 3 days old! Erica boldly braved the outing and we were all so happy to see them and hold little Avery. All the grandmothers got plenty of quality baby time, as well as other members of the family. We took the opportunity to take pictures of all the cousins together - you'll have to check it out below!
On Sunday, we went to the Ortman Easter lunch at Matt's Uncle Steve and Aunt Robbi's. They lived on a wooded lot with a stream, and Jack had lots of fun exploring with Matt and Uncle Mark. Papaw and Mimi hid eggs for Jack to find and then Jack shared his candy with everyone. The Ortman side is also blessed with new grandbabies - but we'll have to wait until after July to be able to get pictures of them all. Once Lindsay has her baby boy in July, there will be 4 new little ones altogether!
Jack is doing better with his sleeping (and of course, Henry is still sleeping very well at night). We have figured out that Jack gets overtired and therefore wakes up more during the night. We have started taking naps again - just every other day or so - and this has helped TREMENDOUSLY! We are finally getting some much needed rest now. Henry has started on baby food and absolutely loves it. You'd think he's been eating food from day one! He is the most smiley baby I have ever seen and we are so blessed to have 2 happy boys.
