Last weekend we dedicated Henry at our church, White River Christian Church. We were blessed to have both sides of our family there to support us! We enjoyed a fun time visiting and eating afterwards at Mancino's. We will be going to support my brother, Brian, and his family for their son, Curtis', dedication next weekend.
Henry is growing and growing! We had his 4 month appointment last week and he now weighs 16 lbs and 8 oz and is 24 3/4 inches in length. He is doing all the things that a 4 month old should be doing: smiling, cooing, laughing, gaining trunk control, drooling, reaching for toys and trying to put them in his mouth! We have also started cereal and he LOVES it. I should have known by the way he stares at us during mealtimes and 'chews' along with us!
This weekend we had so much fun going to the Great Wolf Lodge near Cinncinati to have fun with the Ortman family. They have an indoor water park, which is perfect for this time of year. We went there last year and Jack still remembers how much fun he had. This year Jack did so much more than last year. He went down the beginner slides and intermediate slides all by himself! AND he and Matt went down one of the BIG slides together, twice! He was so proud of himself when he told me that! They have a tree-house with all kinds of water buckets and sprayers and a large wave pool that Jack had so much fun in. We even dipped Henry's toes in the water! He didn't cry, but he didn't act like he liked it too much either.
In the lobby of the hotel, they have a large tree with animatronic animals. At 8pm they have a 'show' with the puppets and then Wiley the Wolf, the Lodge's mascot, comes out and helps read a bedtime story. It's so cute because all the kids come and sit on the floor in their pj's! Jack was so tired he didn't move the whole night. (I think that we need to go to a waterpark every day so that Jack sleeps all night!)
We hope you are enjoying the beginning of spring!
