This weekend we had an awesome time skiing with the Ortman's in Michigan at Crystal Mountain! Jack and his cousin, Parks, went skiing for the first time. They took a 2 hour class on Saturday and when we picked them up, they were able to ski down the little bunny slope all by themselves! Jack had an absolute blast.
We stayed at the ski resort in a cottage with Matt's family. It was a beautiful place and within walking distance to the slopes. The first night, we thought we'd let the 2 boys (both 4) sleep in the bunk beds in the same room as Mimi and Papaw. Well, let's just say that 2 four-year-olds in the same room does not make for sleepy eyes! Those two laughed and giggled for hours. We wised up the next night and separated them. :)
Henry came along for the fun as well. We really appreciated Mimi, who stayed with Henry while I was able to watch Jack ski. Henry thanked Mimi and Papaw by giving them lots of smiles and giggles. We cannot wait to go back again!
P.S. A big CONGRATS to Matt's cousin and his wife, Jonny and Danielle, on the birth of their daughter, Aubry Nicole, on February 26, 2010!
