We are all doing well. Sleeping at night has been rough, but it is slowing getting better. Henry has started taking longer naps and therefore, sleeps better at night. Jack is still having vivid dreams at night and often will wake up crying, but not really awake. We've pretty much had to just let him cry in his room until he wakes up enough to come out and get us. This seems to work in that when he comes out to get us, he's woken up enough that he won't have a repeat dream later in the night.
Henry is now a sitter! He loves to sit on the floor and play with his toys. You can really tell he thinks he's big stuff when Jack will sit with him and play. He seems to like his baby food ok, but his eyes literally bug out when he sees us eating 'big people food'! I have a feeling the baby food won't even be touched once he gets his hands on our food! He still has not rolled over, but that's ok with me. That means he is still stationary. I know that as soon as he can move, they'll be no stopping him.
Jack is busy as ever. Preschool is now over for the year and I was worried as to what we were going to do to keep him occupied! But we have such wonderful neighbors and the kids just play outside in each other's yards all day. He comes in at the end of the day wiped out! We have also ventured up to the lake and Jack got to take his first 'tube' ride of the season. He loves Uncle Mark's boat and he loves the tube. He is getting ready to take swim lessons in a couple of weeks and is starting a soccer camp next week. We also will have VBS at his preschool at the end of the month.
Matt and I are also doing well. Matt's job keeps him busy, but we are so grateful he is able to work at home full time. I am doing well most days to just keep up with the laundry, dishes and meals! We are so busy but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We hope you and your family are enjoying this lovely weather!
