Thanksgiving

We had such wonderful Thanksgivings!

We went to Matt's parent's for a wonderful meal and lots of fun with the family. Jack LOVED playing with his cousin, Parks, and Matt and myself enjoyed visiting with our family. Jack and Parks found Papa and Mimi's hats, so they had fun trying them on and showing everyone. Jack was so wound up all the way home. He talked non-stop for the hour-long drive. I thought we'd never get him to bed! But he finally crashed at 7:30 (no nap, so we went to bed early) and was out all night!

This morning we went to my side of the family for a Thanksgiving brunch. We have done a brunch for several years, because our hometown high school football team usually goes to the ISHAA State Game in the afternoon. We had so much good food. Paula Deen would have been proud! Jack and Lily had fun playing with Laura, our newest member of the family!! My cousin, Jared, proposed to Laura a couple of weeks ago! Congratulations!!!

This afternoon we headed down to Lucas Oil Stadium to watch the Blackhawks try to win their 4th state football game in a row. But Cardinal Ritter was too tough. The Hawks lost 34-27. It was a really good game. Jack did pretty well to sit through the whole game.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my loving husband and carefree son, and our supportive families. But above all, I am thankful for our loving Savior, who through Him, makes all things possible.
