Fall Fun and Halloween!

Jack is in preschool this year and his class went to Russell Farms for their fall field trip. Jack had a lot of fun looking at baby animals, going for a hay ride, and picking out his pumpkin. He also like eating outside with his friends. Matt, Jack and I also went to a pumpkin patch to pick out our family pumpkins. Jack wasn't too sure about scooping out the insides and carving out the jack 'o lanterns, but he did like looking at them all lit up!

Halloween was really fun this year. We first ventured out to ZooBoo at the Indianapolis zoo. This was a good 'warm up' to Trick-or-Treating. Jack wasn't' to sure about wearing his Spiderman costume, but once he saw all the other children with their outfits on, he couldn't wait to get his on! Then on Halloween, he was so excited to go around the neighborhood and say 'trick-or-treat'! In our new neighborhood there are a LOT of families with children. I have never seen so many people out on the sidewalks!! We had a fun time. We also went to visit Great-Grandma Dunn and cousin Lily came too! The two cousins had fun checking out each other's candy stash!!
