3rd Birthday

I cannot believe my baby boy is 3!!!! He had such a fun birthday. He really 'got' the cake, candles, singing, and of course, the presents! His cousin, Parks, had his birthday in September, so that got Jack really geared up for his birthday. Of course, whenever we asked him what kind of cake he wanted, or what kind of presents, he would tell us the same thing that Parks had at his birthday.
Jack had a small gathering of his friends (and Mommy's friends too) over to play for his birthday. At his friends party he had: Will and Owen Gerig, Campbell Tavenier, Mark and Makenna Hughes, and our new friend and neighbor, Aubryn. Jack enjoyed everyone singing to him and blowing out his candles.
Then the next day we had all the family over! Grandma and Grandpa Ortman, Uncle Mark, Uncle Todd, Aunt Jenni, Parks, Grandma and Grandpa Glunt, Great Grandma Dunn, Kenny, Uncle Allen, Mo, and cousin Lily! We missed Uncle Brian and Aunt Rachel, but they were too busy Cruising around the Bahamas!! :)
We also met up with our friends Shawn and Grayson at Chuck E. Cheese. For anyone who doesn't know, Shawn and I met while we were pregnant with our boys. Grayson is only about 10 days older than Jack. We don't get to see them too often due to conflicting school schedules, but when they do get together, they have lots of fun!
We also spent the last nice day of the season at the zoo with my family. Jack just loves the zoo and we spent lots of time at our favorite place, the penguins!
